TeleRep is the largest billing and most successful television representative firm in the country.
TeleRep was founded over 43 years ago as a sales representative for Chris Craft Broadcasting. The company was sold to Cox Broadcasting in 1972 and today is America’s number one television representative firm in total spot billing.
Starting with founder Al Masini in 1968 and now continuing under the leadership of Cox Reps President Kim Guthrie and TeleRep President Jason Morrow, TeleRep has both the systems in place to generate the highest level of sales and the methods to monitor those systems. TeleRep has always and will always be about one thing – our people. Every station at TeleRep benefits from a sales structure of highly trained and qualified salespeople, team managers, group vice presidents, and directors of sales. These seasoned professionals plan sales strategies, execute those plans and maximize revenue for our client stations. In addition, our research, programming, and accounting and finance departments are the biggest and best in the business providing the total package for our clients, advertising agencies, and the advertisers themselves.
At a point where many in the media industry are searching for the balance between expense reduction and viability, we continue to invest in people, systems, and technology to further separate ourselves from the pack.
Privately owned by a major group broadcaster, our concerns are about performing for our clients. We have a superb and stable client list with the best broadcasters in the business.
Established in 1992, in an effort to broaden TeleRep’s interests outside of the United States, TeleRep International was created to represent foreign media companies. In 1999, TeleRep International expanded its representation in Canada and became the largest representative of Canadian media in the United States.
Today TeleRep International is the exclusive representative of Bell Media, the largest and most dominant multimedia company in Canada.
